LIVE WEDDING PAINTER

TURNING YOUR MEMORIES INTO WORKS OF ART

Meet Hannah

After graduating from Concordia University of Nebraska, and earning my bachelors degree in k-12 Art Education, I became an art teacher for two years in a Lutheran high school located in Colorado.

In the fall of 2023, my husband and I were thrilled to find out our family would be growing in August of 2024 and decided we needed to move back to the midwest to be closer to family and friends.

I’m very humbled and oh so blessed for the ability to be a stay-at-home mom with our first little girl. However, my desire to create continues to tug at my heart! As I was scrolling Instagram one day, I came across a live event painter and it was as if a lightbulb had lit up and I knew this was God’s new calling for my life.

Although I am new to this specific vocation, my passion and love for people and painting runs deep within my soul. Painting has always been a beloved hobby of mine, so I’m extremely excited see what God has in store for me during this new season of life. I would be so honored to capture your special day through my paintings!

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's Grace.

    THE WEDDING DAY

    • I will be arriving 2-3 hours early to the venue to set up everything I need and begin painting the setting. Guests will be able to view the beginnings of the painting as they arrive.

    • I will continue painting throughout the event. A picture or two will be taken to reference as I capture the exact moment you’re looking for. 5-6 hours of work will have been worked into your painting.

    • I will transfer my work and materials to the reception so guests can continue to view the developing work. You will be able to view your painting at your leisure throughout the event.

    • Everything will be packed up and your painting will be shipped to you after the finishing touches and a varnished seal is applied. You can expect this to be delivered in 1-2 months from the event. (If you are in the Lincoln area, I will hand deliver the painting to you!)

  • Pricing starts at $500

    All Packages Include:
    - Pre event consultation (in person or by phone)

Ex: 150 total miles (100 miles each way would be a $30 travel fee)

    Canvas Sizes Offered:
    16x20"
    18x24"
    22x28"
    24x30"

Paintings including additional family members or guests in addition to the couple, must be on a 24x30” canvas. Each added member to your desired piece will be an additional $100.

  • Q: What style do you paint in?
A: My goal as the artist is to capture the overall mood of your event on canvas. Due to the time constraints, you can expect a finished painting with realistic perspectives and proportions, with soft details. My paintings are a delicate balance between realism and impressionistic.

Q: What scenes do you paint?
A: I can paint any scene you want, but typically work to compose different moments of the event into one complete painting.

Q: Can I have specific friends or family members in the painting?
A: You can specify certain individuals or groups to be included in your completed painting. During our consultation, we can discuss who that looks like for you. Additional members will be an additional charge. Bride and groom are always complimentary with each package.

Q: What kind of paint do you use?

A: I paint with acrylic on a stretched woven canvas.

    Q
: What size is the painting?
A: The smallest canvas size I paint on is 16x20. Reference "Pricing & Investments" to see what other sizes I offer!

Q:When will my painting be finished?

A: Paintings are usually able to be mostly finished by the end of the event. However, I do prefer to bring the painting home for detail refinement, and final varnish application. These will be finished up as soon as possible, but you can expect to receive your painting approximately 1-2 months after your event.

Q: How far are you willing to drive to a venue before it’s too far?

A: To make an effort to balance work and family life, the furthest I am willing to drive is 3-4 hours during this current season of life.
