My first Bridal Expo Experience!

Wow am I fortunate to be in such a positive and uplifting community! Before attending my first Bridal Expo at Glacial Till, near Bennet, Nebraska, I had no idea how tight knit and encouraging working in the wedding industry could be. I am very new to this job, having only launched my business in January of this year, so being the baby business amongst these very professional and experienced individuals was intimidating to say the least!

I was fortunate to have my long time friend attend with me. She gave me an extra little boost of confidence as well as helped me set up all of my work for individuals to see when they arrived. The day was so upbeat, alive, and all around inspiring. I chatted with so many brides who got to see a few of my paintings in person. Both brides and vendors commented on my work saying they couldn’t believe I had only started this business just 4 short months ago because of how advanced my work was and how professional my set up was. If that doesn’t boost your confidence, I don’t know what will!

As the event came to a close, vendors began mingling more. Leftover food, desserts, flowers, and business cards were distributed and friendship amongst the vendors began to blossom. People were sharing stories, experiences, and dreams for their business and it was just the most uplifting thing I have been a part of in a while. I hope to return to Glacial Till next year for this same event, and maybe take on a few more Bridal Shows in the future. This day definitely went so much better than I ever expected.
